25th Anniversary Celebration
On the morning of Saturday, July 18th KNC celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy. As part of the celebration we had guided tours, refreshments and entertainment. We also heard from and paid tribute to the many individuals that have contributed to the success of Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy. All year long, we will be showcasing the restoration work that we have completed during this 25- year period that has been completed by with funding through grants and donations from the entire Geneva Lake Community, including individuals and organizations spearheaded by The Friends of Kishwuaketoe group as well as thousands of volunteer hours as well as summer interns that we hire each summer.
Kishwauketoe is open 365 days a year, and being a nature conservancy every day brings a new experience. However, throughout the year many events are planned.
