New Wildlife Pond

The US
Fish and Wildlife service is in the process of
digging a wildlife pond and plugging the ditch at
the north end of KNC property. This is part
of a grant that they gave to KNC this past year
for this project. This will provide
wonderful habitat for wading birds, amphibians
and wood ducks. Anyone wishing to volunteer
can help us clear all the piles of boxelder trees
that surround the work they are doing in this
area. This is our part of the grant work.
